Events Management

I’ve been working in events for over 8 years, with 5 years in management. I’m a Conference and Events Manager at the Hilton DoubleTree in Brighton. We run everything from 1,500-person conferences to boxing events, weddings, and small meetings.

I handle logistics and shifts and lead a brilliant team of up to 40 people on a busy day, alongside a tight-knit management crew I genuinely love working with. No two days are the same (and I wouldn’t want them to be).

I’m great at problem solving, mostly because things do go wrong, but that’s where I thrive. I’ve learned how to stay calm under pressure, think on my feet, and come up with creative fixes fast. I love people, I love my team, and I’m always learning

Production Assistant 

Alongside my work in events, I recently worked as a Production Assistant on a corporate shoot for Boosworks through Hansomly. I helped with everything from call sheets and props to talent support, catering, and general on-set jobs, plus capturing behind-the-scenes content throughout the day.

It was a busy, hands-on role that felt like a natural extension of my events background. A lot of the same skills came into play: staying organised, thinking on my feet, solving problems quickly, and keeping things running smoothly. It confirmed that production is something I want to do more of going forward.
